Camellia

The cold weather has struck the Hunter Valley. I am perched at a table by the front windows where I can see the wind whipping up waves on the lake. The clouds are skidding by and the boat masts are rocking about. There are four ducks nuzzling through clover in the front yard. Bub was watching them yesterday and distinctly said, 'Da! Da!' So 'duck' is her second word.
