Son Of Stormrider

Riding out the typhoon today by playing Star Wars Monopoly. We seemed to parallel some classic Star Wars motifs in our game. Parent (Mum, playing as Darth Vader) destroyed child (me, playing as Obi-Wan Kenobi) before the redeeming son (Arthur, playing as Luke Skywalker) defeated my evil destroyer. This Duel Of The Fates played out over the living room table as the larger forces battled in the sky above. And the forces of nature meant business; two kilometers away, my father-in-law and sister-in-law were evacuated to the town hall because the river burst its banks. I have never seen so much rain.
