WHEN IS A PIGEON A WINNER.....

..... at the 2015 Australian National Pigeon Show.......well according to one judge shown here, when it has all the attributes for it's breed!!!

BUT, what if two birds entered have the same qualities??? 

Stopped off today on the way back home to check out the National Show held this weekend here in Penrith. There are over 3000 pigeons of all varieties entered, never seen so many different pigeons!!!

Back to the story.... well the judge here shown from San Diego USA, made the decision for this breed by explaining this bird was to him a more "loving bird"....suppose that means it comes home quicker!!!!

Anyway, liked this shot caught showing the judge explaining as the owner of the winner looked on in expectation.  It was fun trying to get a decent shot through the wire cages and the varying light.
