Sole survivor

Four such lion rampants were attached to each side of the two funnels on the paddle steamer Waverley from 1965 to 1974. Two were returned to Calmac when they sold the steamer in 1974  to the  preservation trust for £1 one was given to a Waverley benefactor and this remaining one is proudly displayed beside the engine room
