The Bench In The Woods

We did our weekly 'big-shop' this morning and restocked our cupboards and fridges. Tons of meat, fruit and veg stashed away :-)

After lunch we all went to Lotherton Hall for a walk. It did take a while as it was all new to the dogs - so they had to stop and sniff everything.

On the first part of the walk we could see a farmer in a field pulling up  plants by hand - on the way back he had reached the path and so we stopped to chat - he was removing 'wild oats' from the crop before the seed dropped as it can quickly infest a field.

In the woods we came across this old bench which was in a little patch of sunlight. It certainly doesn't look very inviting for a sit down. I had a bit of fun with HDR effects on a single image to make it 'glow' a little and then tweaked a bit in Lightroom. The original image is in extras
