Clandon Park

Clandon Park House, owned by the National Trust suffered a devastating fire on 29th April. I have driven past several times since but at the time although you could smell it from the A246 you couldn't actually see anything. This morning I was driving back from Guildford and made a short diversion to have a look. It looks in a pretty sorry state but I understand that the damage isn't actually as bad as they first feared.
