Upper Inverroy

I took note of yesterday's (lack of) desk top progress and joined Mhairi with the dogs at Upper Inverroy this morning for some fresh air. It was lightly overcast and not too warm.
The recent harvesting here has been a right savage process and leaves the place looking quite scarred close up. However we do seem to have been left with a small network of well engineered paths and this clearance affords good views across the Glen Spean Valley to the Grey Corries, Aonach Beag and Aonach Mor.
I like using a small aperture and low ISO on this wee Sigma but the slow shutter speed resulting does force you to use a tripod (which I seldom carry) or a convenient tree stump. I'm just trying to account for the fact that the 1/30 sec shutter speed is not sufficient to freeze Mhairi's brisk gait here.
