Cornflower impression

For Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear a textured version of one of my cornflowers today.

And what a varied day it is, the day Eid starts, so a celebratory day for all Muslims. Eid Mubarak to all celebrating the end of Ramadan.

It was also the day our friend Iain's wife Sheena is buried, we couldn't go there today but we will visit next week. The day that a year ago MH17 was shot out of the sky with the loss of all its passengers and crew and poignant memorials were held in several locations. The day Marlieske has her 50th birthday (and I hear Angela Merkel has her birthday too today).
