Lily and her shadow

A short afternoon wander from Kelvinhead to Longcroft along by the Forth & Clyde Canal.

Having spent much of the day indoors catching up after my holiday, it was good to get out for an hour or so, especially as the weather was warm and sunny.

Jumped on a bus for the short ride along to Kelvinhead and then walked home along the Canal towpath, taking time to enjoy the wonderful reflections on the Canal and the beautiful blue dragonflies darting about just above the surface - alas just too quick to capture well on camera, despite me setting a high shutter speed in the hope of getting a decent photo of them.

So rather than posting a blurry, but nevertheless identifiable, picture of a dragonfly I've settled for this water lily and its reflection.
