An early blip
My day started at 4am, not with the storm, although that was in full flow, but with gripping stomach cramps and that horrible fainting feeling that I haven't actually had for a year or so.
I drifted in and out of sleep until 6, hoping I was going to feel well by getting up time. That was not to be and I proceeded to spend a few hours in the bathroom - but thankfully no fainting. Drained, I went back to bed at 7.30 once Henry had got his bus.
So that was my day. I hate being ill. I think perhaps I've been overdoing it. Just one more week of this split life.
Jon & Mollie arrived with a trailer full this afternoon. I'm informed there is more to come. I wasn't able to help much.
Now they are playing cards, but I'm going to have an early night. A real early night. Tomorrow we are invited to the wedding celebrations of one of my oldest friends from guides & school days. So we have a long drive from here to Cambridge, and then on to Hoddesdon, returning to Cambridge tomorrow evening.
Looking forward to seeing Isabel tomorrow, properly meeting Richard & catching up with her lovely family, (who kindly gave a home to some of my old hens)
Happy times.
