Propellor II
Gardening consisted of watering pots this morning. A pleasant activity if not rushed and the weather is fine, which it was.
Maeve the Deerhound and I had an interesting walk today. Same old route with a little countryside, the bridle path, across the level crossing, and along the beach to the Fishermen's huts at Westhaven before heading off back up one of the main roads in Carnoustie towards home.
At the Fishermen's huts there was a lady mending Creels. One of the men who I see often was coming back up from his boat on the hard sand, after loading with floats, and they began to chat as we approached. Perhaps man and wife. Interesting. Maeve and I strolled up from the sand and said hello. Smiles and nods and a short discussion of weather ensued. Progress :-)
After chatting and taking a few shots of a new little blue boat called "Yum Yum" Maeve and I wandered further along the beach towards Carnoustie.
A sharp shower of rain came on when we were looking at the boat with the rusty keel. I noticed a square of marine ply beside the boat, so I sat on that by one side of the boat out of the rain and Maeve sniffed about (as you do when you are a Deerhound). All in all a pleasant walk.
I had a notion to try one of those fancy colour on top of B&W type edits today. A variation on the propellor blip from a few days ago :-)
