Red hot

The temperatures are unusually warm for this valley and we are enjoying wearing shorts and sandals which was a rarity last summer. Meanwhile the farmers have been very busy getting the hay in before the rains came.
A quieter day for us and more relaxing: after lunch we took the dog for a swim, indulged at the nearby bakery and headed home before the storm came in (as well as a 40 minute power cut to the whole valley!) and then everything cooled down again.
