Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Leo!

It was a fun packed day. It started rather early with my little bedfellow waking at 2am, then 4am, then 5am hoping to open presents! He managed to last until 5.30 and could then wait no longer. He was a very lucky boy and had lots of great presents.

He had fun at school as they all had a water fight and got a good soaking. He enjoyed being the centre of attention with everyone singing Happy Birthday to him whilst he and a couple of friends assumed pride of place on the Birthday table at lunchtime.

I had the afternoon off work so I could pick him up from school. We headed back into Exeter to collect Ian who was back from his Cornwall conference and we headed to Pizza Hut for a celebratory pizza treat. Then it was time for some Skylanders play before bedtime!

He should sleep well tonight after all that. He has a golf lesson and tournament in the morning so we'll have another busy day. I am hoping to get away with a coffee and book session whilst watching his lesson before trotting around the course with him as he takes part in the tournament. It will be his first time on the golf course proper so he is super excited!
