Zoo Trip #49: Wild Place Project (17th July 2015)

Today the Wild Place Project had a special Summer Sundown opening, from which I have just returned, so I only have a couple of pictures readied to upload, as I'm trying to blip on the day - so hard!

On my last visit I blipped a European Grey Wolf, but they are such stars I'm afraid I'm going to have to blip one again. I think this is Peachy, the most dominant of the pack of five. I'll link to an album when it's done, and write more, but food, wine and TV beckon.

Girlpool - Chinatown (2014)
Iggy Pop played this to me on the car radio on the drive home. I'd already put it on my list to consider for a LOTD when the time was right, so an approval from Mr Pop seals the deal. Girlpool is a Los Angeles based two piece made up of Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad who record for the Wichita label. The band remind me of Veruca Salt, a band active in the nineties but who reformed and put out an album a month or two ago.
