Pain in the grass....

For reasons too tedious to share, I was unable to go to my best friend's wedding today.

I was very upset at having to miss out....we've been friends for 44 years, sharing all of life's highs and lows, and more than a few bags of Maltesers.

From what I've heard so far, the wedding venue is awash with mud, the bride is wearing wellies underneath her beautiful dress, and her dog has crashed the party and is growling loudly at the new in-laws....

Sounds bloody wonderful....
