Amish country

We immersed ourselves in Amish culture today. Turns out, there is a lot one can learn in a single day! This picture shows a traditional Amish buggy, of which we saw many on the road today. The reason the Amish do not use many electronic equipment is not the use of electronics per se, but rather being connected by wires to the outside worlds. Ironically, the distributor of electric power is positioned on this Amish property and they had to mow around it using horse drawn mowers. It's a crazy world!
