Sports Day

Today it was James's turn for Sports Day. He did 2 individual events, skipping and standing long jump and then took part in the tug of war and the water obstacle course as well. 

I was slightly concerned when I heard he was in the skipping race... the last time I saw James with a skipping rope he got completely tangled up in it! But he assured me he had practised at school, and he was actually quite good, coming second in his race. In fact James's house did rather well and for a third year running, they won the overall event. An enjoyable way to spend part of the afternoon... helped by the mobile coffee van which was serving very nice coffee!
