That sort of morning

I was up at 5.30 to head to Auckland airport, only to find my flight was delayed by over 3 hrs. Looking out at the morning once it had got light(er), I I found myself wondering if there's a Maori word for "dreich" (though come to think of it, I've never even found a directly equivalent word in English).

It would have been great to use the enforced idle time on blip catch up, but the airport authority in its quest to boost revenues wisdom only allows 30 minutes of free internet time and I had to use that to handle some work things. But it did give me the chance to look around for  photo opportunities.

I ended going with this addition to my "planes parked at terminals" collection. I wasn't actually flying Air New Zealand, but it was the most photogenically-parked one.
