Apples & Pears...

These may look like apples, but here in Nepal this fruit is called a pear. The skin has the look and feel of a pear, but the shape is of an apple. When you cut into one, the flesh looks and feels like a pear, but tastes more like an apple.

Interestingly, what we would call a pear they call an apple pear.
