hummingbird hawk-moth

Spent the day with my dad and one of his friends and two geology PhD students in a quarry looking at geology - well, they did. I enjoyed not having to do anything and did some insect hunting. I was particularly chuffed by the hummingbird hawk-moth. They have been on my list for quite some time. I added today's extra of some calcite crystals as token geology picture
