Spider Lily

Grown from supermarket bulbs for the first time this year.
Thanks to everyone for your comments and kind wishes on my 365th blip yesterday. Now that I've photographed a year in the garden, I've decided to give up the daily blip. It's been really great and I've learned so much from fellow blippers, particularly those who have been generous enough to view and comment on a regular basis. I look at my garden and plants in a completely different way. I'll probably put a weekly shot on Face Book and Twitter so we might still connect on there if you care to drop by.
My main reason for giving up is that my first love is Philosophy and I want to devote more time to studying.
Last, but not least, a big 'thank you' to my husband, Geo2b, for patiently helping me to capture my flowery images and for letting me play with his precious camera and lenses.
Thanks again blippers. You've been fantastic.
