unexpected delights

Wonderful bat mitzvah this morning. Lots of thought provoking ideas and wonderful readings and singing. The young woman at the heart of it did very well indeed.

Travelled all the way from Stanmore to Bickley by train afterwards - that really is the whole way across London via West Hampstead, Blackfriars and Herne Hill. Saw Aged P who was in good form today, and took over my iPad to read a digital newspaper.

Came back via London and had occasion to take this lovely shot of St Bride's Church.
