Bamburgh

I spent most of my day around, or in Bamburgh castle... it's an imposing place, but the village it protects is tiny. 

I got a proper sandblasting on the beach - the wind was very strong and blowing sand about all over the place. The light was gorgeous though.

A clarification regarding my earlier apology about a lack of comments/ internet speed: the internet at this B&B is very slow - it takes ages to open any one page and minutes to upload a blip.  Internet speeds at LPH are fine; comments may be limited due to lack of time... :-)
