Skipping in the grass

This afternoon I had a lovely walk with my great friend Sue to our local Devon Wildlife Trust reserve (we have several) and I think this is a small skipper, but someone will probably correct me and say this is a large one - but anyhow, it's a skipper - they always remind of jump jets! :)

It has been the usual annual Wedding here today at the church (always a big one booked for July) and they have a huge marquee in one of the fields, nicely hidden by a row of trees, but that doesn't stop the sounds of the party and people having fun - a good live band at the moment too, they've had a gorgeous day for it, so lucky as July has been pretty much a cold wash out (as ever!!!) :) xxx
