Saturday: Leaving

Today was a bit of a tough call.  Naturally, I really wanted to stay in Liverpool to support K. but, unfortunately, it's not really possible for me to stay indefinitely so I had little choice but to return to Zagreb today.  But I'm glad I was there for this week, to help a bit, but also to see K's mum while she was still able to manage the occasional smile and a little word here and there.  

I'll be on my way back to the UK as soon as it becomes necessary.
