Curious

He was waiting for his mate, I was waiting for my family to go and see Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Everyone showed up.

When I first saw the play, nearly three years ago, I didn't believe the book could be adapted for stage. But I was enormously impressed at the acting and the clever staging and came out bouncing with excitement. I was less persuaded by this evening's touring version which somehow felt more gimmicky. It wasn't just because I was seeing it for a second time - my campanions enjoyed it but didn't emerge bubbling.

A rare stereotype of Oxford life in Extras.
