Albury Produce Show

I've caught up! :D  [Back blipped the last few days]

It's that time again! The Albury Produce show took place today, and though we weren't there from the start, we enjoyed the time we spent looking at this prize-winning produce (don't you love the artichokes), flower decorations and terrier racing! All very country fayre. Missed the Morris dancers sadly but we did get to eat delicious barbequed hotdogs and chat with a lovely couple.

And in the morning, I did the laundry and we introduced ourselves chatted with the neighbour who has the garden we admire from the kitchen window. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a similarly pleasant view to look out on to!

Did the ironing in the evening (Saturday evening job - ugh) whilst starting on the DVD box set of 'Allo 'Allo! that I have been given as a birthday present! Quite a few laughs and memories of being a teenager in the 80s watching it on tele and thinking how clever the writers who put it together are... :D

It is past midnight, so time to switch off here and head to bed. I shall get to journals tomorrow. Apologies for lack of commenting the last few days.
