A busy Saturday!  In preparation for seeing the Opera Wilmington production of Rigoletto next week, the company presented a workshop on the opera.  We viewed the costumes and met with the designer, met with the set designer (on stage), and the director and musical director.  We also listened to an duet by Gilda and her father Rigoletto, sung during Act 2.  

After a brief visit to the farmers market (the subject of my extra image today), we toured an exhibit of Claude Howell at our local art museum.  This 3 day exhibit consisted of 56 works privately owned by local and regional art lovers.

Tonight I watched the U.S. play Cuba in a Gold Cup match, feeling sorry for Cuba, who had 5 defections during this tournament.
