Oxeye Daisies by the roadside, in the Upper Knockbain area of the Black Isle.

Testing this lens at maximum aperture. Have had focusing issues with it, and discovered it was "back focusing" (focusing behind the desired subject) by a fair amount. As it tends to have a largish depth of field, it wasn't always noticeable. Fortunately this camera has the facility to micro adjust the focus - something I've never used before. Had to adjust it to near enough the maximum value. It seems very much better now, with regards to both it's accuracy and speed of focus. Has stopped any of the hunting for focus it was doing with distant subjects. Manual focus lens on Film camera isn't having such bother... ;-)

Domestic chores galore today. Even cleaned the windows – inside and out – for the first time this year. They were really manky, and I'd become used to them being like that. So much so, that I now keep having a double take, as it's as if there's no glass there. Weeding and cut front grass at last. Most productive... for a change.
