Jack Frost

I know this seems very small beer indeed after the snow scenes from Blackheath and the frost details from New Zealand, or the snow on the moors in the UK, and the rest of Europe.

But we actually had a ground frost last night, and I saw frost all around the rhubarb I planted yesterday.

Such a rare sight for us, I had to blip it.

It didn't seem to harm the rhubarb at all, and fact it had visibly grown since it was planted yesterday afternoon.

The poor birds are really struggling this winter, so we are putting out extra seed and mince for them.
