Quite fitting.....
Have always been intrigued by this building's signage - tucked away on Virgina St in the city centre. The Jacobean Corsetry once supplied corsets across Scotland beginning in 1946 until the retirement of owner William Brown in 2000. In its heyday the store employed 15 people and sold over 30,000 corsets a year nationwide. . . . that's quite a few corsets for a small country!
The building itself was once occupied by the Tobacco Lords of Glasgow from 1817.
