Hanging on

Mr M and I were traveling to visit my parents this morning and at one point, while driving on the interstate, I noticed this poor little cricket hanging on to the mirror for dear life. After several miles, we found a place to pull over (actually we were pulling over so I could take over driving) and I took the opportunity to use a stick and get the little guy off of the car.  I was pulling for him the whole time!

We had a busy day and a nice visit with my parents, got home pretty late.

The extra photo is twin fawns that were in the road when I set out this morning - we see them with their mom quite frequently around the area.
