In his younger days Terry used to be able to climb aboard with ease and grace. These days it is a much tighter squeeze to get into the cab.
This bus is 4 months younger than me. It was withdrawen from service in 1969 before spending a couple of years as a driving school vehicle. It was finally fully restored and passed its MOT in 2010 and carried passengers once again at Easter the following year.
Today it was conveying passengers between the Pier Head in Liverpool and Speke Hall where there was a vintage fair.
I hope to pass my next MOT too!
