Thin Skinned

Lots more rain today, but some sunshine too so ventured down the garden to see what's growing.

I always thought that cherries split because of lack of water, but I've just learned that it's because of too much water in the later growing stages when their skins are stretched so much.   Fancy that:-)  This rainy summer has a lot to answer for!
