Today's The Day

Clare set off for Bristol Airport, I set off for work.
Clare on her way to collect Marina, the daughter of Flavio & Angela who in turn are my daughter Sarah's friends.
Marina is coming for a taste of the 'English' way of life and although Cornwall is a little different from the remainder of Britain it's close enough, for example "dreckly' is the Cornish version of the Spanish mañana but without the urgency.
After a long drive in the westbound holiday traffic they eventually made it to Falmouth.
Meanwhile I'd had a long physical day working in the sun so it was a shower and change and off to the Harbour Lights for a 'Colossal Colin' cod & chips for me along with a lemonade!!
