Meeting Monica

Today has been super, sunny, Sunday even though Ann’s weather app said it was going to rain?!!

This morning Ann said, ‘Molly, we have a very, very, busy day ahead of us.  We are going on a big, long, walk and then at 6pm tonight we are meeting Monica.  Obviously it goes without saying, that you must look your best for meeting Monica.  I’m going to dress you in your nicest collar & lead and if you do anything naughty, like wallowing in mud on your big, long walk, I will be really angry with you.’

Monica has been following my Blips for years and as she is in St Ives at the moment she really, really, really wanted to meet me and be blipped with me.  Why anyone would want to be blipped with a common little collie I don’t know??!!

Anyway for our big long walk today, we went to Mousehole, walked through the fields to Lamorna Cove and then walked back along the coast path.  It wasn’t a mega long walk but we were out for about four hours because the coast path bit was described as ‘strenuous’.

Every time we got to an up & down bit or a bit where we had to scramble over rocks, the humans moaned about how old & unfit they were.  Today I was full of beans, so I was zooming about all over the place.  And I found mud to wallow in.  Yay!  And then I found a big trough to get clean in. Yay!

So by the time I got taken down to the Beach Bar to meet Monica I was looking all clean & gorgeous again.  Obviously meeting Monica involved wine drinking for the humans?!

And do you know what?......................... Monica had bought me loads of pressies.  I got a yellow bouncy ball, some doggie chocolate drops, a hedgehog & a chicken chew.  Thank you so much Monica, you are the best!
