The Secret...

We headed down to London for the first leg of our holiday.  We decided to split the journey down to France by staying a night with TFPBrother and sister in law.


They organised to take us to the cinema but not just any cinema, a secret cinema who were doing a screening of The Empire Strikes Back.

The best way to describe it was WOW!!!

Beforehand, we were assigned roles, advised dress code and certain kit to bring such as blueprints, or sand.  We were only told which tube station to go to, nothing about actual location.

From there, we followed similarly dressed people and it all kicked off big time.  We got there about 6:30, the film didn't start until 9:30. We spent the rest of the time having a whale of a time dodging imperial patrols, trading with jawas, negotiating passage with wookies amd generally playing out a live action version of Star Wars. It was amazingly well done picking key events from the first film leading you into sitting down watching the second along with live re-enactments as they happened on screen.

A stupendous start to the holiday.
