Cardoon

I took a lot of photos of flowers today on our visit to Furzey Gardens in the New Forest so deciding which photo to choose was tricky. I decided on this one of giant Cardoon (otherwise known as the artichoke thistle so Google tells me), I thought it looked quite stunning against the sky.
