Newham Great Run

Andy, Warren and I did a 10k run today. Boy was it hot. It was surprisingly hilly too. But the finish was awesome.
We finished inside the Olympic Stadium to the theme tune of Chariots of Fire and the stadium full of cheering supporters. It was incredible. Brendon Foster started the race and was at the finish line. We had photos taken with him. What a lovely man. I'll remember this event forever.
Outside I had my photo taken with my time on. Andy took this while I was posing. My time wasn't great but who cares. I didn't stop and that's what matters most to me.
Had a lovely dinner in a Greek Resturant, did some shopping then home.
