Liverpool rain

Lots and lots and lots of rain is the only excuse to get J. into more than one museum in one day. So on this rainy Liverpool Sunday we visited both Tate Liverpool and the Liverpool Museum. Unique day for our marriage!

In between we had a fabulous lunch in an Italian restaurant in the Albert Dock, from which I took this picture. Later on in the day we had some old fashioned pub food and pints while we watched Man United lose from Man City. High and low culture, haute and basse cuisine in balance.
