Taxiles Skipper
I love summer because I can usually find a blipworthy subject in my yard. I found a picture online that looked exactly like this little butterfly so I'm pretty confident about the ID. As always, though, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. :-)
Today we took the new trailer to our nephew's house to show it to him. He has 5 acres in the country so we had more room to open the slide and the awning than on the street in front of our house. He is also an RV expert so he checked the whole thing over inside and out (and underneath). Then turned everything on to make sure it was all working properly and finally gave it his stamp of approval. He showed us a few things that they forgot to tell us at the dealer too. I always feel more confident after talking to him, especially since he thinks we made a good choice and got a good deal.
So now it's back on the street in front of the house. It's really not supposed to be there for more than three days at a time but we're going to keep it there until we get a warning. The code enforcement folks are more lenient in the summer. I think they just don't want it sitting there year around. We have a rented storage space for it a few miles from home if we have to move it.
Our maiden voyage will be back to Granby the first week in August. Can't wait! :-))
