Drenched!

Due to Tropic Storm Doris, SoCal has been blessed with honest-to-goodness rain!  Wonderful Wetness!
This poor June bug was clinging to one of the roses outside the kitchen window.  Unfortunately since this particular rose was exactly under the roof drip line he was being bombarded by huge raindrops that threatened to knock onto the ground.  I cut the rose head off and placed both of them on the porch out of the rain.  The puddle in the rose has drained and he's no longer clutching the petals will all his feet.
