Begonia

The power of plants is amazing.
This seemingly delicate begonia was brought into our garage last fall for the winter.
The reason was to protect its pot from being damaged by freezing as I thought the plant was finished.
It went without water for at least 5 months, yet showed some minimal signs of life in the spring.
We re-potted it and wished it well.
It has come back to show us these wonderful blossoms.
Soft and beautiful, tough as stainless steel, it’s a serious survivor.
Admirable.
