Auditory Hullucinations

A white light that leaps out for attention & hurts the eye is comforted by flecks of colour from the gentle ebb and flo of butterfly wings. Twisted and tangled frames left in the mind form the beginnings of undiscovered dreamscapes & curious music floods the imagination.  Wreckage gives history over which new vines grow stronger & better than before. 

At any minute the dull yellow tones of the street light will flicker,  sizzle & you can only see what is set out before you.

It's  a beautiful messy unknown, majestic in its intent & like a white rabbit on its way to a tea party,  it begs you to follow, to fall, to land somewhere else...  

This looking glass (window) display is an art installation by a favourite art cooperative Skunk Control. It featured as a part of the Gertrude Street Light Festival & was discovered after a night of watching fire works and eating greasy cheesy Friday night burgers with my favourite person in the world!  It was followed by a hot chocolate.

It was, we agreed, a great installation ... afterall you have to love art if it's followed by hot chocolate : ))
