Hoppy

It rained again this morning, but not for long, but has been dull and overcast for most of the day and not as hot as it has been.
 
Today’s picture is of Hoppy, so named because he has a damaged left-front leg and walks with a bit of a hop. We assume that he has been caught in something, maybe a trap and has damaged the leg pulling it free. He has visited the garden most days for many weeks and the leg appears to have healed very well considering the mess it was to begin with. Hopefully, it did not get infected and he will live for a long time.

I have spent some time today working on a second photo book for 2011 as one book does not have sufficient pages available for all of the pictures and text.
