Pelican watching

Another day in the office for K so I headed Downtown to meet for lunch. We found a spot 6 floors above California St to spend our time. Then a stroll to another one of these Public Open Spaces (this time with a view over Market St). 
I chose to spend my afternoon climbing all the steps from street level to the Coit Tower. I rewarded this with beer in the Old Ship Saloon then met K after work so that we could spend the evening at the coast.
First a walk around the old Sutro ruins of both the house and the baths - pelicans everywhere! Beautiful birds. 
Then down to ocean beach to watch the sunset darkening of the sky. 

My time here is going far too quickly. Every moment with K is precious.o
