Picnic

These folk are preparing a picnic. I'm guessing that they are from one of the many boats moored in the centre of town, this weekend must be the River Festival or something. Unfortunately Maidstone really doesn't make sensible use of the river as an attraction so the road you can see at the top of the shot is one of the busiest in town - not what one wants a few yards away when cracking open the cucumber sandwiches.

I ran out of Pimms yesterday. I didn't mention this because I didn't want to upset anyone but you'll be pleased to know that I have invested in another litre - phew!
