It Pays To Read The Manual

We head to Pátzcuaro in a couple of days, so I am spending some extra time in my kayak on the bay in preparation of not having that option for two weeks. I also spent time perusing the manuals of my various cameras and discovered that my Canon D20 has a bunch of modes including "miniature". I tried it out today shooting the beach in front of Club Intrawest as I paddled by. I decided I really liked the effect (after a bit of desaturation in Lightroom), though it works best on brightly lit subjects with lots of color - perfect for Mexico.
