Red Admiral

After complaining that I hadn't seen many butterflies this year, it seems they're just like buses and come along in twos.  I went into the garden early not really expecting to see anything but was rewarded by seeing this insect fluttering around the Hebe  -    I'd not realised they were partial to them. 

I've been out for much of the day and so I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening, either reading or watching a film  -   we haven't decided which yet;  and then all being well, an early night.

I must just say a big thank you to everyone who helped put my Nuthatch on page one of "Popular" -  I'm very pleased and so appreciative. :-))
