Emerging ladybird

Unfortunately not a native british one, this the the horrid harlequin ladybird that is slowly wiping out our natives. If greenfly are short in supply, they will also eat our native butterfly. They can also become a nuisance where it aggregates in large numbers inside buildings in winter. They also occasionally bite and may also feed on fruit crops.
Give me our friendly native ladybird any day, like the sweetie from yesterday.
